Watchful waiting

If symptom levels are low and your physician has excluded complications, he/she may decide to observe the progress of those symptoms over time. This is commonly called Watchful Waiting and involves careful monitoring of symptoms and signs without active intervention. Watchful waiting is recommended for the majority of the patients with mild symptoms (IPSS score between 0 and 7).
